Thanks for being here! Welcome to my page, my name is Matthew Bousson.

I formally retired from Strength & Conditioning and High Performance Coaching in 2024, after over 15 years working with some of the world’s best athletes, coaches and scientists in organizations including the UFC, NFL, NCAA Division 1 and professional Rugby (NRL & MLR).

Since retiring from full time coaching, I have continued to consult for some of the biggest companies and brands known around the world in sport, sales & marketing (Nike, Equinox, IOC, National Institute of sport, and recently, with the local fire dept.). And I am currently studying for my Tactical S&C Facilitator certification.

I built my professional reputation by never following hype or trends, and only focusing on real world results with real people, and was fortunate to work with some of the greatest minds of our generation.

As a lifelong student of human performance, I stepped away from traditional academia (including a PhD in Biomechanics) after realizing that real human performance doesn’t live in peer-reviewed journals (many of which I was published in) or in fancy marketing campaigns paid for by billion-dollar corporations.

Real, long term health & performance lies in the boring and mundane daily actions - put that in a pill and sell it!

What I stand for:
